    qtags adoption by advertisers

    Everyday, the qtags team and our various partners are talking with advertisers and their agencies about how to use qtags.  The goal of qtags is to help an advertiser's customers more easily remember them, and to more easily find them online.   

    Here is how the qtags 'text to web' service works --

    1. Advertiser chooses a keyword & displays it on any media (print, radio, billboards, in-space, on-pack, on apparel, at events..).
    2. Interested viewer / listener / reader texts the keyword to 78247
    3. Texter gets a 160 charact txt message from advertiser & a web-link is placed in the texter's inbox.  The web-link takes the texter directly to the appropriate page on-line, and can be updated by the advertiser anytime, real-time.

    We have generated real interest from quite a few advertisers & agencies.  Here are some of the programs under development--

    • Pizza co, keyword printed on pack. The text message announces a discount available if register online
    • Diabetes.org, keyword 'walk4us' printed on all collateral/advertising re: walk-a-thons, to encourage walk signup  [By the way, we are offering qtags at no-charge to qualified non-profits]
    • Electronics Retailer, keyword in-store to drive signup for rewards program
    • Beverage Mfgr, keyword on-case to drive signup online to get promo discounts
    • Communities in Schools, keyword 'helpkids' on newsletters and advertising to build donations and volunteers
    • UpperHand Day Spa, keyword 'spa1' announced in radio spots, buildling awareness of hair services
    • Car Dealership, keywords announced on radio and other media to announce specials on specific models
