Well since CTIA is going on...it only seems right that qtags makes a few announcements too. We've been telling you about some of the exciting partnerships we've formed with iMediaCaribbean, XtraMedium, TriStar Media , 50plusclicks, and there are more to come.
And - today we're announcing that the MEMO function is live. What is MEMO? It's simple -- anything you want to remember, text it to 78247 (the qtags short-code). It will be stored in your qtags.com inbox. Here's an image of my inbox below. See how the light blue lines are 'memo', and the orange lines are live qtag links.
If YOU haven't used qtags yet -- now you don't have to wait til you see a qtag on an advertisement. Text yourself a memo -- up to 160 characters, to 78247. Preceed your text with a .

The last time I mentioned this function, I told you it was in our dev system, soon to be rolled out. You might also remember that Robert Scoble told me this was how HE'D like to use qtags. Robert, it's live! Let me know how you like it.
Yes, Finally !!!! Thank you thank you thank you. This is actual more powerful than what is even mentioned here. I've actually thought about the potential of such a service but do not have the programming skills for it and the idea has sat in the head for a while. Finally though, after about 10-15 google searches over the past few months, i have found it and I can't wait to use it (although i don't believe it works in Amsterdam, where i'm living for the next 6 months, as they have different short code protocols here. Oh well, I'll get some other people to use it and will do so when I get back). By the way, the google keyword that helped me find this: "sms shortcode memos to yourself". Thank you and I look forward to using
